The historic streets of Bath are an intrinsic part of the city’s appeal, but the visitor rarely appreciates the complexity underlying the construction. Bath street was a complex problem, with the vaults beneath the road allowing only the shallowest of surfacing.
The scheme was detailed by Michèle Lavelle.
