Brislington Enterprise College, Bristol

Brislington Enterprise College

Client: Bristol City Council

Contractor: Skanska

Architect: Wilkinson Eyre / Flacq

Completed: 2009

Brislington Enterprise College was the second of the Bristol BsF schools to reach completion. 4D were responsible for all the site planning and externals, taking the scheme from planning to completion and beyond. The site accommodates the former CLC, now a ASD (also designed by 4D), and the Courtlands SEN unit for disabled pupils.

Our design includes seven pitches, an all weather pitch, ponds, vegetable gardens, meadows, an arboretum, play areas, and sculptures - “bunchedupbench” - developed with the pupils and artist Walter Jack.
